About Pallabi

Pallabi serves the densely-populated Pallabi residential and small-business area in northern Mirpur. The station opened with the rest of the northern segment on 28 December 2022.

Pallabi is well known for its biriyani houses, small markets and tightly-packed apartment buildings. It is a key short-distance commuter station for residents who previously relied on rickshaws and shared CNGs to reach central Dhaka.

Just east of the station the Mirpur Cantonment area begins, with the iconic Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium a short ride south at the next two stations.
