About Mirpur 10

Mirpur 10 is the busiest station on MRT Line 6 north of central Dhaka. It serves the famous Mirpur 10 roundabout — a major commercial, residential and sporting hub.

Within walking distance you have the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (the home of Bangladesh cricket), the Mirpur Indoor Stadium, Dhaka Zoo, the Botanical Garden and a dense cluster of shopping malls, electronics markets, restaurants and the legendary Mirpur 10 biriyani houses.

Looking ahead, MRT Line 5 (Northern Route) will interchange with MRT Line 6 at Mirpur 10 with a planned underground station, making this one of the most important multi-line interchanges of the future Dhaka network.

MRT Line 6 — direct trains north (towards Uttara North) and south (towards Motijheel). No transfers needed for any L6 station.

Dhaka public buses — local BRTC and private bus routes serve the surface roads adjacent to Mirpur 10. Look for the signposted bus stand on either side of the road outside the station entrances.

Rickshaws and CNG auto-rickshaws — readily available at every entrance; useful for short hops to neighbourhoods not directly on the metro alignment.
