About Kazipara

Kazipara is a small but well-used station serving the Kazipara residential area and the Begum Rokeya Sarani corridor connecting Mirpur with central Dhaka.

The area is residential with local markets, schools, small clinics and mosques. The station opened with the rest of the northern segment on 28 December 2022 and is a popular hop-on point for short journeys to Mirpur 10 or southbound to Farmgate.

Begum Rokeya Sarani — the major north-south arterial that MRT Line 6 follows here — is named after the pioneering Bengali feminist writer Begum Rokeya Sakhawat Hossain.
